Support vulnerable populations in Bhopal

Organizations that provide medical care and rehabilitation for gas and toxic water poisoned families in Bhopal free of cost are acting rapidly to organise a ‘community shield’ in acutely at-risk parts of the city to educate, monitor and intervene, in order to suppress transmission of the virus. Aided by hundreds of local volunteers, over the first nine months of the pandemic their efforts were able to limit infections in these communities to just thirty three people, all but two of whom recovered.
